We conducted a 3 month study with Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), a Medicaid and Medicare plan in Southern California. This study consisted of sending interactive text messages tailored to 17,000 newly enrolled IEHP members based on demographic, psychographic and behavioral data. 91% of members found that text messages improved their overall knowledge of available IEHP services.
